We are looking for an energetic and passionate Political Media Executive to join our team in Banda District. The ideal candidate should have a background in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Media Studies and possess excellent videography and communication skills.
The role involves accompanying the MLA during public meetings, constituency visits, government programs, and social initiatives to capture high-quality visual content. The candidate will also interact with citizens, conduct public interviews, and record testimonials and feedback for digital and social media platforms.
This is a field-based role. Video editing is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany the MLA during public meetings, constituency visits, inspections, government programs, and other official events.
- Capture high-quality videos and photographs for social media, press releases, and official documentation.
- Conduct public interviews (vox pops) and gather feedback from citizens regarding local issues, government schemes, and development work.
- Record testimonials from beneficiaries, local residents, community leaders, and stakeholders.
- Confidently interact with people from different backgrounds and encourage them to speak on camera.
- Ensure proper camera framing, lighting, audio quality, and stable footage while recording.
- Coordinate with the social media and content team regarding daily coverage requirements.
- Manage and maintain camera equipment, microphones, tripods, gimbals, and other accessories.
- Travel across Banda district to cover political, social, and public events.
- Deliver all raw footage to the media team promptly after each assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Freshers with strong communication and camera handling skills are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in videography, event coverage, journalism, or digital media will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in Hindi (knowledge of English is a plus).
- Comfortable speaking with the public and conducting on-camera interviews.
- Ability to ask relevant questions and collect authentic public opinions.
- Knowledge of DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.
- Familiarity with camera accessories such as gimbals, microphones, and tripods.
- Basic understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and audio recording.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Banda district.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong interpersonal skills.
Note: Video editing skills are not required for this position.
