Job description:
As a Senior Medical Coder , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our home healthcare data. Your primary responsibility will be to review medical records and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures. You will work closely with healthcare providers to guarantee compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately code medical records using ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest coding and compliance regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in data analysis and reporting as required.
- Willing to work with us on free lance basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in medical coding preferred. Freshers please excuse.
- Proficiency in ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in coding.
- Should have proper understanding regarding the rules and regulations of HIPPA
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Valid Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is mandatory.
