Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction and civil projects. The candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, measurements, site setting-out, levels, boundary verification, and providing accurate survey data for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land, site, topographical, and construction surveys.
- Carry out accurate measurement of land boundaries, areas, levels, and elevations.
- Perform setting-out activities for roads, buildings, foundations, structures, and other civil works.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, reference points, coordinates, and grid lines.
- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/DGPS and other surveying equipment.
- Conduct boundary and alignment verification.
- Prepare survey drawings, site plans, and as-built measurements.
- Read and interpret survey plans, architectural drawings, and civil/structural drawings.
- Record and maintain accurate survey data, field notes, and measurements.
- Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify discrepancies in site measurements and report them to the concerned team.
- Assist in quantity measurements and preparation of survey-related reports.
- Ensure surveying instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Follow project quality, safety, and surveying standards.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Total Station and Auto Level.
- Good understanding of land measurement, levels, coordinates, boundaries, and elevations.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Ability to calculate areas, distances, coordinates, and levels accurately.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and site plans.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently at project sites.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Surveying preferred.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant surveying experience may also be considered.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
