Academic Qualification:
We are looking for a highly qualified finance professional. The following qualifications are considered:
Preferred (will be given priority):
- Chartered Accountant (CA) — Final cleared, ICAI
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) — Final cleared, ICMAI
Acceptable:
- CA Inter — Both groups cleared, ICAI
- CMA Inter — Both groups cleared, ICMAI
- MBA Finance from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks, combined with strong professional experience
Additionally advantageous:
- SAP FICO / ERP certification
- Knowledge of construction sector finance, project costing, or infrastructure accounting
Candidates with only B.Com or basic accounting qualifications will not be considered regardless of experience.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounts, and financial management
- At least 3 years in a senior finance role with direct reporting to MD, CEO, or Board level
- Demonstrated experience in banking relationships — CC limits, Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, Term Loans
- Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory filings, and compliance
- Experience in MIS reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, EPC, or industrial services sector will be a significant advantage
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts
- Full ownership of the company's accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance function
- Monthly MIS reporting to the Managing Director by the 5th of every month without exception
- Project-wise financial tracking, cost control, and profitability analysis across all active sites
- Management of banking relationships with Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, and future banking partners — including working capital enhancement, BG/LC documentation, and term loan management
- Working capital management — receivables ageing, collections, debtor follow-up, and cash flow forecasting
- Coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants for timely closure
- Hiring, training, and building a junior finance team as the function scales
Strategic Planning
- Supporting the MD in financial structuring of new business verticals — NDT, ESG Consulting, Solar EPC, Real Estate
- Preparation of financial projections, business plans, and banker presentations for new projects
- Monitoring of government and PSU tender portals and maintaining a rolling opportunity pipeline
- Supporting bid preparation with financial modelling, margin analysis, and cost estimation
- Driving process improvements and financial systems upgrades including ERP implementation
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in Tally Prime — mandatory
- SAP FICO or equivalent ERP — strongly preferred
- Advanced MS Excel — mandatory (MIS dashboards, pivot tables, financial modelling)
- Power BI or similar reporting tools — advantageous
- Working knowledge of all GST return types, TDS provisions, and Income Tax compliance
