Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Interior Procurement Executive to manage the procurement and sourcing of materials required for interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, price negotiation, purchase orders, material availability, and timely delivery to project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure interior materials based on project requirements and approved specifications.
- Source and identify reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, site teams, and accounts department.
- Ensure materials are purchased within approved budgets and timelines.
- Track purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery.
- Coordinate material deliveries to project sites.
- Verify material quality, quantity, specifications, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Identify alternative materials and suppliers whenever required.
- Monitor market prices and maintain updated material cost information.
- Handle urgent procurement requirements for ongoing projects.
Interior Materials Knowledge
Candidates should have good knowledge of sourcing/procuring materials such as:
Plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, PVC, acrylic, glass, mirrors, aluminium, profiles, kitchen accessories, furniture fittings, electrical materials, plumbing materials, sanitaryware, flooring, tiles, false ceiling materials, paints, wallpapers, fabrics, curtains, and other interior finishing materials.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of interior materials and suppliers.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to compare quotations and control procurement costs.
- Strong coordination and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple project requirements.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in the interior design, interior execution, construction, furniture, or fit-out industry.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with existing interior material supplier/vendor contacts and hands-on experience in interior material procurement and price negotiation will be preferred.
