Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operation Manager – Drilling Fluids. The role involves overseeing day-to-day drilling fluids operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring fluid systems to support safe and efficient drilling activities. The Operation Manager will manage inventory levels, logistics, and quality control of drilling fluid chemicals, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include supervising field teams, reviewing operational performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing process improvements. The role also requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize service delivery, manage contracts and budgets, and prepare operational reports and documentation.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in drilling fluids, mud engineering, and related oil and gas services, with proven ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee complex field operations.
- Strong understanding of drilling operations and well control principles, ensuring safe and efficient execution in diverse environments.
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing performance, coaching staff, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Skilled in inventory management and coordination of chemicals, consumables, and equipment to support uninterrupted operations.
- Effective communicator with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across projects.
- Strong decision-making abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement in operational processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field; equivalent industry experience considered.
- 10–15 years in drilling fluids, including 3–5 years in supervisory or managerial roles, with exposure to international and multi-site operations.
- Strong knowledge of water-based, oil-based, and synthetic-based fluids, with hands-on experience in HPHT, directional, horizontal, and other challenging drilling environments.
- Willingness to travel to operational sites and adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental standards.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
