Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Civil Draughtsman(Steel Structure) for Railway and Central Govt projects to join our engineering/design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, drainage systems, and other infrastructure works. You will work closely with engineers and architects to translate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings that adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural and civil drawings using AutoCAD
- Prepare detailed Steel structural GAD and GFC using AutoCAD
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and CAD software based on sketches, survey data, and engineering drawings.
- Draft RCC detailing, bar bending schedules, and GA drawings
- Modify drawings as per engineer/client requirements
- Coordinate with structural engineers and site teams
- Develop detailed plans, layouts, profiles, and sections for infrastructure projects.
- Revise drawings as per markups from engineers, architects, or project managers.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer conventions, and file management systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and update drawing registers, as-built drawings, and documentation.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation if required.
- Conduct site visits for measurements and verification as needed.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3+ years preferred) as a Civil Draughtsman/Engineer
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of RCC detailing and structural drafting.
- Understanding of construction drawings and IS standards
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction techniques.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IIT/Diploma or B. Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma Draughtsman ship.
- Experience working in infrastructure, real estate, and construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
