Webkul Software is seeking a proficient Android Developer with approximately one year of professional experience to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Kotlin/Java and a demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy high-performing Android applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficient in building and shipping robust apps to Android devices.
- Writing readable and clear code using Kotlin/Java that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades.(Preferred -> Kotlin)
- Understand basic concepts of design for developing user-friendly applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies.
- Performance-driven app development and component-driven app development
- Api Calling and Caching
- Modular and Functional Programming Skill development
- Kotlin/Java and Android framework are mandatory
- Strong understanding of Co-routines and Retrofit
- Basic fundamentals of mobile App development
- Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, MVP
- Expertise in REST/SOAP API implementation and GraphQL is a plus
- Basic knowledge of git is mandatory
- Sound knowledge of SQLite, shared preferences, and local databases
- Good understanding of Gradle/Android architecture
- Knowledge of Firebase, GraphQL, and Socket.io Integration is an advantage
