Position: AS400 Developer
Location: Visakhapatnam

TCS is looking for experienced AS400 Developers with strong expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RPG programming, CL, DB2/400, and application enhancements within enterprise environments.
- Analyze business requirements and develop solutions on AS400/IBM i platform.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, and Free Format RPG.
- Develop and support CL/CLLE programs.
- Work with DB2/400 databases, SQL, Physical Files, and Logical Files.
- Create and maintain Display Files, Printer Files, and Subfiles.
- Perform application enhancements, bug fixes, and production support.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot application and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
- Strong experience in AS400 / IBM iSeries

- Experience with RDi, SEU, PDM
- Knowledge of Web Services/API integration with AS400
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
- Experience with Change Management tools such as Aldon, TurnOver, or Implementer
- Banking, Insurance, Retail, or Manufacturing domain experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
