JPM Society is a non-profit organization working towards sustainable livelihoods, skill development, entrepreneurship, and rural development. Under its Banana Circular Economy initiative, the organization is promoting value addition from banana pseudo-stem through fibre extraction, enterprise development, and women-led livelihood generation.
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Project Coordinator to lead field implementation and coordination of our Livelihood & Agri Value Chain projects. The role requires extensive interaction with banana farmers, Self Help Groups (SHGs), local institutions, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of Banana Circular Economy projects at the field level.
- Conduct regular meetings with banana farmers, SHGs, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate production planning and work order channelization with women SHGs.
- Plan and organize farmer meetings, training programmes, exposure visits, and awareness campaigns.
- Maintain close coordination with government departments, banks, project partners, and local authorities.
- Collect, compile, and manage project data, field reports, beneficiary records, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of activities.
- Travel extensively within project villages and nearby districts.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline (Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Work, Management, or related fields preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in rural development, livelihood projects, NGO sector, agriculture, or community mobilization will be preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and field coordination skills may also apply.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic documentation.
Mandatory Requirements

✔ Ability to compile field data and prepare reports
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Based on qualifications and experience)
