Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchase Executive with strong expertise in procurement, vendor management, CAPEX/OPEX purchasing, and supply chain coordination. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and services at competitive costs while ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company procurement policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Sourcing
- Manage procurement activities for CAPEX and OPEX requirements.
- Source materials, equipment, MRO items, maintenance consumables, safety items, packaging materials, fabrication items, metals, rubber products, and engineering components.
- Float RFQs, collect quotations, evaluate bids, and prepare techno-commercial comparisons.
- Identify and develop new vendors, OEMs, and strategic suppliers.
Vendor Management
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and annual contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations and cost-saving initiatives.
Purchase Operations
- Process purchase requisitions and generate Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor order execution and ensure on-time delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers for pending orders and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and approval matrices.
Cost Optimization
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through effective negotiations and sourcing strategies.
- Implement rate contracts and long-term agreements.
- Identify alternate vendors and products to reduce procurement costs.
Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, stores, and finance departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of critical materials.
- Support inventory planning and stock optimization.
Documentation & MIS
- Prepare procurement MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Verify purchase bills against PO and GRN.
- Support audit requirements and procurement documentation.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase functions.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, steel, fabrication, glass, or industrial sectors preferred.
Technical Skills
- SAP MM
- ERP Systems (Matrix ERP preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Mechanical Engineering background.
- Strong exposure to MRO, CAPEX, and OPEX procurement.
- Experience handling industrial procurement worth large annual spends.
- Proven track record in vendor development and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
