CD Technotex LLP is a growing manufacturing company engaged in woven packaging and technical textile production. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support smooth plant operations through effective maintenance of electrical systems and production machinery.
Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, production machinery, panels, and utilities within the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment and utilities.
- Maintain motors, drives, panels, PLC systems, cables, sensors, and industrial electrical components.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of machines by minimizing electrical downtime.
- Perform routine inspection of LT panels, control panels, and power distribution systems.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for planned shutdowns and repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and reports.
- Follow industrial safety standards and electrical maintenance SOPs.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and modification of new electrical systems and machinery.
- Support energy efficiency and electrical improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Valid Electrical C Certificate is mandatory.
- 2–8 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience in textile, plastics, packaging, extrusion, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
