Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily business operations including inward, production coordination, QC, packing, dispatch, and logistics.
- Ensure smooth coordination between manufacturing, sales, accounts, dispatch, and inventory departments.
- Monitor operational workflows and improve process efficiency.
- Develop and implement SOPs for operational activities.
- Ensure timely execution of orders and commitments to B2B clients.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor silver stock movement, product inventory, and material utilization.
- Ensure proper tracking of inward/outward stock, transfers, and dispatches.
- Coordinate with stores and inventory teams for accurate stock management.
- Minimize stock discrepancies, wastage, and operational losses.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN, GRT, issue/receipt entries, and stock records.
Production & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with production teams for order planning and timely completion.
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders as per delivery schedules.
- Monitor product movement between departments.
- Handle dispatch planning, courier/logistics coordination, and shipment tracking.
Vendor & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with karigars, vendors, transporters, and service providers.
- Supervise operational staff and ensure discipline, productivity, and accountability.
- Train teams on operational procedures and reporting systems.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalations efficiently.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily operational MIS reports.
- Monitor production, dispatch, stock, pending orders, and operational performance.
- Maintain operational records, approvals, and documentation systematically.
- Coordinate with management for operational planning and execution.
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational standards.
- Coordinate with QC teams to maintain product quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling of silver inventory and high-value products.
- Support audit and compliance requirements related to stock and operations.
Desired Candidate ProfileQualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Operations, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
- Additional certification in Operations or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in operations management.
- Experience in silver jewellery, ornaments manufacturing, wholesale, or related industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of B2B operational workflows.
