WE'RE HIRING – HOTEL MANAGER
Location: White Portico Thekkady, Kumily, Kerala
White Portico Thekkady is looking for a dynamic and experienced Hotel Manager to lead our boutique hotel operations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in hotel management, OTA management, revenue optimization, and guest relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
- Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services.
- Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and resolve guest complaints promptly.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate hotel staff.
- Manage OTA platforms such as Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Airbnb, and Expedia.
- Optimize room inventory, pricing, promotions, and availability across OTA channels.
- Manage channel manager and property management system (PMS).
- Monitor online reviews and maintain high guest ratings across all platforms.
- Implement revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and profitability.
- Coordinate with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate clients to generate bookings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and revenue reports.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor maintenance and ensure all rooms and facilities meet brand standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in hotel operations or hotel management.
- Proven experience managing OTA platforms and channel managers.
- Strong knowledge of revenue management and online distribution.
- Experience with PMS software and hotel reservation systems.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and staff scheduling.
- Fluency in English; Malayalam and Hindi are an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in Thekkady.
