Hiring: Gate Operator
Location: Mundra, Gujarat
Experience: 1 to 5 Years
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Gate Operator to join our Container Freight Station (CFS) operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in container gate operations, documentation verification, gate pass management, and coordination with transporters, security personnel, and yard operations.
Position: Gate OperatorKey Responsibilities
- Process container Gate-In and Gate-Out transactions for import and export cargo.
- Verify container numbers, seal numbers, vehicle details, and driver credentials.
- Generate and issue Gate Passes, EIRs (Equipment Interchange Receipts), and movement slips.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and documentation requirements.
- Update container and vehicle movements in TOSS or similar terminal operating systems.
- Coordinate with Yard Operations, Documentation Teams, Transporters, and Security personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of gate transactions and supporting documents.
- Monitor gate activities to ensure smooth cargo movement and minimize delays.
- Report discrepancies, unauthorized movements, or operational issues promptly.
- Support compliance with customs regulations, security protocols, and company SOPs.
Qualifications
- Graduate / HSC with Computer Knowledge.
- 1–5 years of experience in CFS, ICD, Port, Logistics, Warehouse, or Terminal Operations.
- Knowledge of container gate procedures, EIR generation, and documentation verification.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and terminal operating systems.

- Knowledge of import/export documentation and container handling processes.
