1. Electrical Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems, switches, and power outlets
- Maintain electrical distribution systems across the hospital
2. Power Supply Management
- Monitor and maintain transformers, DG (Diesel Generator) sets, and UPS systems
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical areas such as ICU, OT, and labs
- Handle power backup systems and ensure quick switching during outages
3. Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Identify and repair electrical faults, short circuits, and breakdowns
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical complaints
- Replace faulty components such as cables, switches, and circuit breakers
4. Equipment Support
- Assist in installation and maintenance of medical and non-medical electrical equipment
- Coordinate with biomedical and IT teams when required
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC-related electrical systems
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety standards and hospital protocols
- Ensure proper earthing and grounding systems
- Adhere to fire safety norms and electrical regulations
- Use PPE and follow safe working practices
6. Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all electrical systems
- Maintain maintenance schedules and checklists
- Minimize downtime through proactive measures
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Prepare daily logs and reports
- Report major issues to the supervisor for further action
