Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced VMC Setter Cum Operator for Pattern Manufacturing and non-standard machining work. The candidate will be responsible for machine setting, operation, tooling selection, and machining of pattern components as per drawing and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate VMC machines for pattern manufacturing and development work.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and machining requirements.
- Perform job setting, tool setting, offset correction, and prove-out activities.
- Load, edit, and manage CNC programs when required.
- Machine pattern components with required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of VMC machine setting and operation.
- Experience in pattern manufacturing and non-standard machining jobs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and offset handling.
- Good understanding of machining parameters and cutting tools.
- Ability to independently handle development and customized jobs.
Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering .
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as VMC Setter Cum Operator in pattern manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
