Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing to ensure the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in test execution, defect tracking, and functional testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and functional requirements and prepare test cases/scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure application quality before release.
- Work closely with developers and product teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain test reports and QA documentation.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA reviews.
- Perform cross-browser and application compatibility testing.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in web and/or mobile application testing.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and test case/bug report preparation.
- Knowledge of functional and regression testing.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to API Testing using Postman.
- Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts.
- Experience with cross-browser testing.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
