Design Engineer – Electrical Project (Projects)

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Design Engineer to create detailed electrical layouts and schematics using AutoCAD software, ensuring proper placement, and routing components and wiring in our various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Checking of design basis report, cost estimation reports.
- Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, power substations and residential and commercial buildings according to project objectives, design information and engineering specifications
- Perform/checking of calculations like Electrical Load calculations, Transformers & DG sizing, cable sizing, Illumination design for buildings, area lighting and road, Earthing & Lightning Protection, UPS & battery sizing etc. in line with latest Indian and international codes & standards.
- Preparation and checking of detailed Single Line Diagrams for LV & HV systems, Prepare Cabling, Lighting, Power, Earthing & Lightning Protection Layouts, preparation of Bill of Materials. preparation of Cable schedule and Cable Interconnection Schedule
- Preparation and checking of Technical specifications & data sheets, Technical Bid analysis, Purchase recommendations and vendor drawing review of the electrical equipment.
- Coordination within the discipline, other disciplines, Client and project management team
- Adhere to Quality Management procedures & safety standards of the company.
- Contribution for standardization of documents.
- Participation in proposals, helping BD team by estimating optimum effort
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.
- 2D, 3D, SYMBOLS, ELV
- Knowledge of Reviewing 3D Modelling
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–10 years of experience in designing for electrical or construction projects.
- Technically competent engineer with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Electrical system for various mechanical and process packages.
- Familiarity with of latest relevant Indian & international codes & standards, Regulation.
- Prior experience in IT Park or commercial building projects is an advantage.
