Job Summary
The Personal Trainer is responsible for providing one-on-one fitness coaching, customized workout programs, and lifestyle guidance to help clients achieve their health and fitness goals. The trainer will monitor client progress, ensure safe exercise practices, and deliver high-quality training sessions that improve member satisfaction and retention.
Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Training Sessions
- Conduct one-on-one and small group personal training sessions.
- Develop customized fitness programs based on client goals, fitness levels, and physical condition.
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and correct workout form.
- Monitor and adjust workout programs according to client progress.
Client Assessment & Goal Setting
- Conduct fitness assessments and body composition analysis.
- Help clients set realistic fitness and wellness goals.
- Track client progress and maintain training records.
Motivation & Client Support
- Motivate and encourage clients to maintain consistency and discipline.
- Provide guidance on healthy lifestyle habits and basic nutrition.
- Build strong professional relationships with clients.
Safety & Injury Prevention
- Ensure all exercises are performed safely and effectively.
- Monitor clients during workouts to prevent injuries.
- Provide modifications for clients with physical limitations when necessary.
Gym Floor Responsibilities
- Assist members on the gym floor when required.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of gym equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in training areas.
Sales & Client Retention
- Promote personal training packages and fitness programs.
- Support membership retention through excellent customer service.
- Encourage clients to continue long-term fitness programs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of exercise science and fitness training.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to create personalized workout plans.
- Knowledge of strength training, cardio, mobility, and functional exercises.
- Basic nutrition and wellness knowledge preferred.
Qualifications
- Certification in Personal Training or Fitness Training required/preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a personal trainer preferred.
- Freshers with recognized fitness certification and practical knowledge may also apply.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
