Key Responsibilities:
· Independently manage the complete merchandising cycle from order confirmation to final shipment.
· Develop, implement, and monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans to ensure timely execution of all orders.
· Lead coordination with buyers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth order execution.
· Source and negotiate fabrics, trims, and accessories while ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, and timely availability.
· Review and approve Proforma Invoices (PI), purchase orders, and payment terms before processing.
· Monitor procurement schedules and ensure all raw materials are received in line with production requirements.
· Ensure all incoming fabrics and trims meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
· Lead sample development, buyer approvals, and product development activities.
· Identify production risks and proactively implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
· Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards, packing specifications, and shipment requirements.
· Coordinate shipment planning, export documentation, and logistics to ensure smooth dispatch.
· Maintain strong relationships with buyers through regular communication, progress updates, and issue resolution.
· Analyze order profitability, costing variances, and merchandising performance to support business objectives.
· Collaborate with QA, Production, Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics teams to optimize operational efficiency.
· Mentor and guide junior merchandisers, allocate responsibilities, and monitor team performance.
· Prepare MIS reports, order status updates, and management reports on merchandising activities.
Key Skills & Competencies
· 8–12+ years of experience in garment export merchandising with proven expertise in handling international buyers.
· Expertise in Time & Action (T&A) planning, order execution, and critical path management.
· Sound knowledge of costing, consumption, pricing, and margin analysis.
· Strong negotiation skills for sourcing, pricing, and commercial discussions.
· Excellent buyer communication and relationship management skills.
· Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
