Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and experienced Government Sales Specialist to spearhead our SI business in the Delhi/NCR territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in government and PSU sales with a deep understanding of IT Infrastructure and Network solutions. You will be responsible for generating revenue, managing key government accounts, and building long-term relationships with decision makers across central and state government departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of IT Infrastructure & Network solutions (servers, storage, networking, security, compute) to Government, PSUs, and defense organizations in Delhi/NCR.
- Identify, develop, and manage a strong pipeline of government opportunities through active prospecting and relationship building.
- Engage with key stakeholders including IAS officers, IT heads, procurement committees, and decision makers across central and state government departments.
- Lead end-to-end bid management — from tender identification and pre-bid meetings to proposal submission, techno-commercial negotiations, and order closure.
- Prepare and present technically sound, competitive proposals and solution decks aligned with government requirements.
- Coordinate with OEM partners, pre-sales teams, and delivery teams to ensure seamless solution positioning and project execution.
- Monitor government procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement, NIC tenders) for relevant opportunities and ensure timely submissions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, opportunities, and activities in CRM.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support business strategy.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant experience in SI Sales specifically focused on Government / PSU accounts.
- Hands-on experience selling IT Infrastructure & Networking solutions (OEMs like Cisco, HPE, Dell, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, tendering frameworks, and portals (GeM, CPPP, eProcurement).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, long-cycle government sales from lead generation to closure.
- Existing network and relationships with government IT decision makers in Delhi/NCR is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of IT solution components — compute, storage, networking, security, and managed services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration.
- OEM certifications or sales training from Cisco, HPE, Dell, Microsoft, or similar vendors.
- Prior experience with government framework contracts, rate contracts, or empanelment.
- Familiarity with BOOT, OPEX, and managed service models for government projects.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
