Job Description (JD)
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Factory Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure smooth production processes, maintain quality standards, and manage factory staff efficiently. The ideal candidate should have experience in food manufacturing/FMCG operations and strong leadership capabilities.
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry Preference: FMCG / Food Manufacturing
Location: Rabale
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete factory operations and production activities
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines
- Maintain quality, hygiene, and safety standards across the factory
- Manage manpower, shifts, and worker productivity
- Coordinate with procurement, dispatch, and quality teams
- Monitor machine efficiency and reduce operational downtime
- Maintain production reports and operational records
- Ensure compliance with food safety and manufacturing regulations
- Handle day-to-day operational challenges effectively
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping in Tally
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment, and receipt records
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and financial documents
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance work
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors regarding payments
- Support monthly closing and reporting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Production, Operations, Food Technology, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in factory or production management
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Good problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Basic knowledge of inventory and production planning
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred
Bonus
- Experience in snacks/namkeen manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and quality control
- Ability to improve operational efficiency and reduce wastage
- Experience handling large production teams
