Role - Showroom Stylist
Job Summary
Responsible for assisting customers in selecting fabrics, sarees, dress materials, ethnic wear, and other textile products based on their preferences, occasion, style, color, budget, and current fashion trends. The Stylist provides personalized styling advice and helps create a positive showroom shopping experience while supporting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Welcome and understand customer requirements, preferences, and budget.
· Provide personalized styling recommendations for weddings, festivals, parties, office wear, casual wear, and special occasions.
· Recommend suitable colors, fabrics, patterns, designs, textures, and combinations.
· Assist customers in selecting coordinated outfits, including sarees, blouses, dupattas, dress materials, shawls, accessories, and other textile products.
· Explain product features such as fabric type, quality, craftsmanship, care instructions, and suitability.
· Keep updated with fashion trends, seasonal collections, colors, textile designs, and customer preferences.
· Create attractive product combinations and suggest suitable styling options.
· Coordinate with tailors/designers when customers require blouse designs, alterations, customization, or stitching suggestions.
· Support visual presentation and merchandising of products in the showroom.
· Maintain proper display, folding, tagging, and organization of merchandise.
· Assist customers during trials, selection, and final purchase decisions.
· Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
· Achieve individual and showroom sales targets through effective product recommendations.
· Maintain knowledge of new arrivals, promotions, special collections, and pricing.
· Coordinate with the Sales Team, Store Manager, Inventory Team, and Tailoring Department.
· Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
· Maintain showroom cleanliness, presentation, and professional appearance.
· Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, festive campaigns, and new collection launches.
Requirements:
· Experience in textile showroom, fashion retail, bridal wear, ethnic wear, or premium apparel retail.
· Strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, colors, patterns, fashion, and styling.
· Good customer-service and selling skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong sense of color coordination and fashion aesthetics.
· Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable recommendations.
· Presentable personality and professional grooming.
· Ability to work toward sales targets and handle a fast-paced retail environment.
