Job Summary
The Sales & Performance Manager will be responsible for leading, training, motivating, monitoring, and improving the performance of the sales team to achieve the organisation's monthly admission and revenue targets. The role requires a highly disciplined, target-oriented professional capable of implementing sales systems, coaching team members, improving conversion rates, and ensuring effective utilisation of the CRM.
This is a leadership position focused on team performance, rather than individual sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the entire sales team.
- Establish a high-performance sales culture.
- Ensure achievement of monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Sales Training
- Conduct daily sales training and coaching sessions.
- Train newly recruited sales executives.
- Improve communication, counselling, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Conduct role-play exercises and product knowledge sessions.
Performance Management
- Monitor the daily performance of each sales executive.
- Track individual and team KPIs.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Conduct weekly one-to-one performance reviews.
CRM Management
- Ensure 100% utilisation of the CRM.
- Monitor lead allocation and follow-up activities.
- Ensure timely updates of customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reports.
Call Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Listen to sales calls regularly.
- Provide constructive coaching and feedback.
- Improve enquiry-to-admission conversion rates.
- Ensure adherence to approved sales scripts and ethical sales practices.
Sales Operations
- Monitor daily enquiries, follow-ups, counselling sessions, admissions, and collections.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and conversion.
Recruitment & Team Development
- Participate in recruiting telesales executives and counsellors.
- Identify training needs and create individual development plans.
- Build a motivated, disciplined, and high-performing sales team.
Reporting
Prepare and submit:
- Daily sales performance reports.
- Weekly team performance reports.
- Monthly KPI reports.
- Revenue forecasts.
- Sales pipeline reports.
- Action plans for performance improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Sales & Performance Manager will be evaluated based on:
- Achievement of the monthly team revenue target.
- Achievement of monthly admission targets.
- Improvement in enquiry-to-admission conversion rate.
- CRM compliance and follow-up discipline.

- Sales training effectiveness.

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in sales management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading a sales team.
- Experience in the education, training, certification, EdTech, professional services, or consulting sector will be a significant advantage.

Salary & Benefits
Fixed Salary: ₹60,000 per month
Performance Incentive:
- ₹20,000 per month if the team achieves a minimum monthly sales revenue of ₹10,00,000.
- No performance incentive will be payable if the team revenue is below ₹10,00,000.
Probation Period: Three (3) months.
Confirmation of employment will be based on satisfactory performance against agreed KPIs.

The ideal candidate should be a passionate sales leader with a proven ability to build, train, and manage high-performing sales teams. The candidate should possess strong coaching skills, be highly organised, data-driven, and capable of creating a disciplined sales environment that consistently delivers measurable business growth.
