Job description
Projects and Service Engineer:-
- Responsible for overall service of different type of water & waste water treatment plants (WTP/STP/ETP/RO/UF)
- Perform hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs
- Provide high level technical support to customers
- Organizing routine servicing schedules
- Servicing of electro-mechanical system
- Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate
- Able to install & fit repaired & new parts
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns
- Faults analytical capability with route cause and fault fixing/correction ability or arranging for replacements with specific feed back
- Keeping managers informed of progress
- Organizing teams to make sure 24-hour cover is available
- Managing budgets
- Creating maintenance procedure
- Managing stocks of supplied materials and arrangement of proper storage and safety for man & materials at working sites.
- Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
- Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated
- Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts & contract renewals
Skills:
- Basic of process in Water & Wastewater technology
- Knowledge to read drawings of P&ID, Layout, Civil assignment, Piping
- Understanding of Electrical drawings & installation
- Communication skills, written and oral
- Organisation skills and a methodical approach to work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualification - B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)
Candidates from same industry are preferred.
