About Dili Clothing & The Role
Dili Clothing is a fast-growing fashion startup specializing in modern streetwear, premium shirts, denim, and cargo pants. We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Embroidery Designer to join our core manufacturing team. In the modern fashion scene, high-quality embroidery (puff, flat, appliqué, patches) plays a massive role. We need someone who can turn fresh, out-of-the-box concepts into flawless embroidery files and bring our apparel to life.
What You Will Do
- Design & Conceptualize: Create fresh, trend-setting embroidery designs and typography specifically tailored for men's streetwear and premium shirts.
- Digitizing: Convert vector artworks, logos, and sketches into highly accurate, production-ready embroidery machine files.
- Technical Setup: Set up exact parameters like stitch count, thread density, and color sequences based on the specific fabric (e.g., lightweight cotton vs. heavy denim).
- Quality Control: Work closely with the sampling and production team to test run designs, troubleshoot issues like fabric puckering, and ensure flawless final execution.
- Innovation: Experiment with new techniques like 3D puff embroidery and detailed patches to keep our collection ahead of current youth trends.
What We Are Looking For
- Mandatory Skill: Expert-level proficiency in Wilcom software for embroidery digitizing is a strictly required. (Applications without Wilcom knowledge will not be considered).
- Proven hands-on experience in apparel embroidery design within the garment manufacturing industry.
- Basic knowledge of vector tools like CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator is a big plus.
- Deep technical understanding of how different fabrics, threads, and backing materials react during the embroidery process.
- A strong creative eye for modern youth fashion, typography, and streetwear aesthetics.
- Must be willing to work on-site at our Kundli, Sonipat setup.
