Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Executive to manage both lead generation and sales activities for our IT and digital services. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the IT industry with a strong understanding of website development, app development, software solutions, and digital marketing services.
The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, managing client relationships, conducting sales conversations, and converting prospects into successful business deals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify potential B2B clients.
- Generate qualified leads for website development, mobile app development, software solutions, and digital marketing services.
- Research and identify target companies and decision-makers including Founders, CEOs, Marketing Heads, and IT Heads.
- Use platforms and tools like LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Lusha, SalesQL, email databases, and other lead-generation tools.
- Perform outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
Sales & Business Development:
- Handle the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
- Understand client requirements and suggest suitable IT solutions/services.
- Conduct client calls, presentations, and product/service discussions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and coordinate with internal teams for client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
Lead Qualification & CRM Management:
- Qualify prospects based on business requirements, budget, timeline, and decision-making process.
- Maintain accurate lead and sales records in CRM tools like Zoho CRM, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Track follow-ups, client communication, and sales pipeline activities.
- Ensure timely updates of lead status and opportunities.
Sales Pipeline & Reporting:
- Maintain daily and weekly reports of lead generation, sales activities, meetings, and conversions.
- Track key performance indicators such as leads generated, meetings scheduled, conversion rate, and revenue achieved.
- Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to improve client acquisition strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, or Sales roles.
- Proven experience in the IT industry, preferably with a digital agency, software company, or technology services provider.
- Strong understanding of website development, mobile applications, software solutions, and digital marketing services.
- Experience in B2B sales, cold calling, email marketing, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into business.
- Experience working with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
- Comfortable working with sales targets and performance-based incentives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience working with Indian and international clients.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of IT services sales lifecycle.
