We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Associate (BDA) to expand WUE's academic partnerships across India. As a BDA, you will be the face of WUE to colleges and universities, responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding institutional partners for our Academia Solutions. This is a high-impact, field-facing role ideal for someone passionate about education, technology, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and prospect colleges, universities, and engineering/management institutions across your assigned territory
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of academic prospects through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and campus visits
- Research institutions to understand their current placement infrastructure, student challenges, and leadership priorities
- Sales & Partnership Development
- Conduct compelling presentations and product demos of WUE's platforms (ORBIT, DRILL, ASSESS, LENS ) and action-first upskilling programs (EDGE) to VC, Pro VC, TPOs, Deans, and Institution Directors
- Understand institutional pain points and map them to WUE's ecosystem solutions
- Drive the complete sales cycle from first outreach to proposal submission to deal closure
- Negotiate partnership agreements and onboarding terms with institutional stakeholders
- Relationship Management
- Build strong, lasting relationships with Training & Placement Officers (TPOs), Directors, Vice-Chancellors, Dean/HoDs and Faculty
- Act as a trusted advisor to partner institutions throughout the onboarding and implementation journey
- Coordinate with internal delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth program roll-out post-sale
- Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, activities, and pipeline status in CRM tools
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on outreach, conversions, and revenue forecasts to the BDM
- Share market intelligence, competitor activity, and field insights to help shape BD strategy
What We Are Looking For
- Education
- Open to all degree in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, or EdTech BD
- Prior experience in selling to educational institutions is a strong advantage
- Freshers with excellent communication and a hunger to succeed are encouraged to apply
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
- Self-motivated with high ownership and a target-driven mindset
- Ability to build rapport quickly with senior academic stakeholders
- Comfortable with field sales, travel, and campus visits
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and Google Suite
- Fluency in English and Hindi (regional language knowledge is a plus)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
