Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SD-WAN Engineer with deep expertise in VeloCloud SD-WAN, Global WAN design, and Cloud Networking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise WAN environments.
This role requires strong hands-on experience, customer interaction skills, and the ability to collaborate with OEM vendors and service providers in a global enterprise environment.
Your Role Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, implement, monitor, and support enterprise-scale VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
Lead global WAN architecture involving MPLS, Internet, and Cloud connectivity.
Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Manage VPN and DMVPN deployments and advanced troubleshooting.
Implement and optimize QoS policies, including traffic classification, policing, and queuing.
Work on VRF and MPLS-based network architecture.
Collaborate closely with OEM vendors and telecom service providers during critical incidents and deployments.
Interact directly with customers for network design, implementation, and optimization discussions.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security across WAN and LAN environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Advanced hands-on expertise in VeloCloud SD-WAN.
Strong experience with MPLS, VPN/DMVPN, Global WAN, and Cloud connectivity.
In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN architecture, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Expertise in QoS mechanisms and performance optimization.
Strong knowledge of Switching Technologies.
Proven experience working in large, complex enterprise networks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle customer-facing responsibilities.
Mandatory Skills:
Advanced expertise in VeloCloud SD-WAN, including design, deployment, and enterprise-scale troubleshooting
Strong experience in MPLS-based networks and Global WAN architecture for large, distributed environments
In-depth knowledge of routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF, with hands-on configuration and optimization experience
Proven capability in VPN and DMVPN technologies for secure site-to-site and remote connectivity
Solid understanding and implementation experience of Quality of Service (QoS), including traffic classification, policing, and queuing mechanisms
Proficiency in switching technologies, with experience supporting complex LAN and WAN infrastructures
