Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach students of Classes VI–X. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Political Science, Civics, and Economics while promoting critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness. The school follows the CBSE curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and emphasizes experiential and student-centric learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Social Science lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
- Encourage inquiry-based and experiential learning in the classroom.
- Assess student performance through tests, projects, assignments, and presentations.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Organize educational activities, competitions, field visits, and project-based learning.
- Provide remedial support and academic guidance to students.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school leadership for student development.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
- Familiarity with NEP 2020 and modern teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
