Job Description – Accounts Manager - PO/MIS/Cost Control
Qualification - Must CA / CMA (Inter/Final) or ACS Final

Position Details
- Department: Finance & Accounts / Internal Audit
- Reporting To: Finance Head / VP Finance
1. Accounts & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)
- Monitor transactions, reconciliations, and closing activities
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and reporting Audit In charge
2. Internal & Statutory Audit Management
- Lead internal audits, statutory audits, GST audits, and tax audits
- Prepare audit schedules, working papers, and supporting documents
- Track audit observations and ensure timely closure
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders Audit In charge
3. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering production cost, sales, profitability, and working capital
- Develop dashboards for key financial and operational metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management
4. Costing Control & Profitability Analysis
- Monitor product-wise costing and margin analysis
- Evaluate cost drivers in manufacturing processes
- Assist in pricing and cost optimization strategies
- Support budgeting and cost monitoring processes
- Implement and monitor cost control mechanisms across all procurement activities.
- Track and control costs to prevent overspending and budget leakage.
- Continuously monitor PO values against budget allocations and operational requirements.
5.Purchase Order Review, Costing & Approval
- Evaluate and approve purchase orders raised by various departments.
- Ensure each PO is supported by proper cost estimation and justification before approval.
- Validate quantities, pricing, taxes, and commercial terms for accuracy.
- Ensure all approvals are aligned with standard approval processes and authority matrix.
6. Budgeting & Variance Analysis
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform variance analysis between actuals vs budget/forecast
- Highlight risks, deviations, and cost-saving opportunities
7. Process Audit & Quality Assurance
- Conduct process audits across departments (production, stores, dispatch, HR, etc.)
- Evaluate adherence to defined processes and identify gaps
- Perform process quality checks to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process improvement
8. SOP Development & Implementation
- Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all key processes
- Ensure uniform implementation of SOPs across departments
9. Vendor & Pricing Validation
- Review vendor quotations and ensure competitive and market-aligned pricing.
- Coordinate with Procurement for rate comparisons, cost benchmarking, and negotiation support.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA / CMA (Inter/Final) or ACS Final
- 5–10 years of experience in audit, accounts, and compliance
- Experience in manufacturing / textile industry preferred
- Exposure to process audit and SOP implementation is essential Audit In charge
