Job Summary
Job Description: Infrastructure Consultant – Level 3.1\r\nRole Summary\r\nThe Level 3 Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for designing, supporting, migrating, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments. The role requires strong hands on expertise in VMware, Microsoft Azure, Nutanix, and Dell hardware, along with the ability to lead complex troubleshooting, upgrades, and transformation initiatives in production environments.\r\n________________________________________\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n• Act as L3 escalation point for VMware, Azure, Nutanix, and hardware related issues\r\n• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vSAN)\r\n• Plan and execute VM migrations, cluster upgrades, and infrastructure refresh activities\r\n• Manage and support Nutanix HCI clusters (AOS, Prism, lifecycle management)\r\n• Provide Azure infrastructure support, including: \r\no Azure VMs, VNets, NSGs\r\no Hybrid connectivity (VPN / ExpressRoute – basic understanding)\r\n• Perform Windows Server upgrades (2016/2019 to 2022) with post upgrade validation\r\n• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and health checks\r\n• Own root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent corrective actions\r\n• Coordinate with vendors (Dell, Microsoft, Nutanix) for support cases and firmware guidance\r\n• Review and implement firmware, BIOS, and driver upgrades on Dell servers\r\n• Ensure adherence to change management, CAB, and documentation standards\r\n________________________________________\r\n\r\nTechnical Skills Required\r\nVirtualization & HCI\r\n• VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion)\r\n• Nutanix AOS, Prism, cluster upgrades and troubleshooting\r\nCloud (Azure)\r\n• Azure IaaS (VMs, storage, networking)\r\n• Hybrid Azure and on prem connectivity concepts\r\n• Azure monitoring and cost awareness\r\nOperating Systems\r\n• Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022\r\n• OS upgrade planning, troubleshooting, and post upgrade health checks\r\nHardware\r\n• Dell PowerEdge servers (R650 / R660 / R750 / R660xs, etc.)\r\n• iDRAC management\r\n• Firmware, BIOS, NIC, RAID troubleshooting\r\nMonitoring & Tools\r\n• VMware native tools\r\n• Infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds or equivalent)\r\n• Log analysis and performance diagnostics\r\n________________________________________\r\nExperience & Qualifications\r\n• 8–12 years of overall infrastructure experience\r\n• 5+ years in enterprise VMware environments\r\n• Hands on experience with Nutanix and Azure in production\r\n• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills\r\n• Experience working in global enterprise environments\r\n• Relevant certifications (preferred): \r\no VCP DCV\r\no Microsoft Azure Administrator\r\no Nutanix NCP (optional)\r\n________________________________________\r\nSoft Skills\r\n• Excellent communication and stakeholder management\r\n• Ability to work independently on complex issues\r\n• Strong documentation and reporting skills\r\n• Customer focused and solution oriented mindset\r\n\r\n

1. To champion ITIL, security, and data privacy to offer high-quality, well-documented solutions, minimizing risks and maximizing customer satisfaction.
2. To provide support for complex incidents, escalated by analysts, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical & security issues.
3. To work on value adding activities such as maintainenace of a comprehensive Knowledge base , act as a mentor to junior analysts,and deliver training programs for freshers, equipping them with essential skills to become productive .
4. To contribute to a positive customer experience and high CSAT scores by providing fast, accurate, and secure resolutions, fostering customer trust and satisfaction.
5. To proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities to protect customer data and prevent security incidents.
