As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced HR professional to build and lead our people operations function.
Role Overview
As the Manager – Human Resources & People Operations, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the complete HR function at Open Axis. This is a high-ownership role requiring someone who can build processes from the ground up while ensuring a compliant, efficient and people-focused workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding and induction.
- Develop and implement HR policies, employee handbook, SOPs and organizational processes.
- Manage employee records, confirmations, performance reviews, promotions, exits and full & final settlements.
- Administer monthly payroll, attendance, leave management and employee benefits.
- Ensure statutory compliance relating to PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, POSH and other applicable labour laws.
- Coordinate statutory filings and maintain HR documentation, registers and compliance records.
- Develop performance management frameworks, KPI systems and employee development initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building and internal communication initiatives.
- Prepare HR MIS, recruitment reports, payroll reports and workforce analytics for management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated experience handling end-to-end recruitment, payroll, compliance and HR operations independently.
- Prior experience in a startup, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or technology environment will be preferred.

What We're Looking For

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
