We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic GIS Field Survey Executives to join our team for a prestigious Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Pole Mapping Project based in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala. Position Details Job Title: GIS Field Survey Executive Project: KSEB Pole Survey & Mapping Project Location: Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based Industry: GIS / Geospatial Services / Utility Mapping Role Overview As a GIS Field Survey Executive, you will play a vital role in the digitization and mapping of electrical infrastructure for the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). Key Responsibilities Conduct field surveys to identify, verify, and map KSEB electrical poles and related utility assets. Capture accurate geographic coordinates and attribute information using GIS-based mobile applications. Record field observations and asset details with a high level of accuracy. Ensure data quality and compliance with project guidelines and standards. Complete assigned survey targets within stipulated timelines. Coordinate with project supervisors and GIS teams for issue resolution and data validation. Follow safety protocols and operational procedures during field activities. Prepare and submit daily progress updates and survey reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Must own an Android smartphone and be comfortable using mobile applications. Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and map-based applications. Strong observational and analytical skills. Willingness to travel across assigned survey locations. Experience Prior experience in GIS surveying, utility mapping, or KSEB-related projects will be preferred. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
