Job Description: Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 DevOps Engineer – Start Your Day (SYD)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 DevOps Engineer to support the development and integration of the Start Your Day (SYD) platform. You will be responsible for building SYD web parts, designing the technical architecture, and ensuring seamless integration with existing digital workplace platforms such as ING Today. You will own the technical foundation of the platform, including reusable components, integrations, quality standards, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SharePoint Online, SPFx, React, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
Support the integration between SYD and existing ING digital workplace platforms.
Design and implement integrations using Microsoft Graph, APIs, and Azure services.
Build and maintain shared services, reusable frameworks, and configuration management solutions.
Perform lifecycle management activities, including Node.js, SPFx, and dependency upgrades.
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational standards.
Collaborate with Tech Lead, Product Owner Architect, and Project manager.
Required Skills & Experience
Senior-level experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
Strong hands-on experience with SPFx, React, and TypeScript.
Experience with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
Experience with Azure App Registrations, permissions, SSO, and MFA.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and drive technical solutions from design through production.
Strong team player with experience working in cross-functional teams within large enterprise organizations.
Preferred
Experience with digital workplace or employee-facing platforms.
Experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements.
