The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for leading the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across the cinema premises. The role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests while supervising daily housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team during each shift.
- Ensure auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, food court, gaming areas, and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor staff performance.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and quality standards.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed on time.
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and report shortages.
- Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety practices.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns related to cleanliness.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth theatre operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in cinemas, malls, hotels, or commercial facilities.
- At least 1 year of team handling or supervisory experience.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualification:
- 10th/12th Pass or any Diploma/Degree.
- Housekeeping certification is an added advantage.
