“Job Description
We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design and develop communication-centric firmware for power electronics devices. The role focuses on implementing reliable wireless and positioning technologies such as BLE and GNSS, while ensuring high performance, robustness, and security in constrained embedded environments.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong embedded systems experience, capable of working across hardware-software boundaries and delivering production-grade firmware.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and define system specifications
- Design, develop, and test high-quality embedded firmware for communication modules (BLE, GNSS, and related subsystems)
- Implement and optimize communication stacks and protocols for reliability and efficiency
- Ensure robustness, security, and fault tolerance of communication interfaces
- Develop firmware with strong protection mechanisms against tampering and unauthorized access
- Debug and resolve issues across hardware and firmware layers
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for future product iterations
- Optimize firmware performance, memory usage, and power consumption
Required Skills
- Strong experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
- Solid understanding of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C
- Hands-on experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and/or GNSS modules
- Experience interfacing with peripherals such as EEPROM, sensors, and displays
- Strong debugging skills using lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
- Good understanding of embedded system architecture and hardware-software interaction
Good to Have
- Experience with industrial and fieldbus communication protocols such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and CAN
- Experience with communication or industrial protocols (e.g., MODBUS, custom protocols)
- Familiarity with RTOS-based systems
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of secure firmware design and device authentication mechanisms
- Experience in low-power firmware design and optimization”
Qualification - BE in Electrical/ Electronics/ EXTC
Experience- 2 to 7 years
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
