Job Summary
The Inventory and Logistics Officer is responsible for managing the school's inventory, supplies, assets, and logistics operations. The role ensures that educational materials, equipment, furniture, uniforms, stationery, and other resources are procured, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently to support smooth school operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of all school inventory, assets, and consumable supplies. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials. Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory audits. Track issuance and usage of supplies across departments. Maintain inventory management systems and databases. Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock and recommend appropriate action. Logistics and Distribution Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of school supplies and equipment. Arrange transportation and delivery of materials between school locations, if applicable. Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of inventory items. Support logistics requirements for school events, examinations, and activities. Coordinate movement of furniture, laboratory equipment, and educational resources.
Record Keeping and Reporting
Maintain inventory databases and filing systems. Generate periodic inventory and logistics reports for management. Track asset movements and maintain asset registers. Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready. Compliance and Safety Ensure proper storage of supplies and equipment according to safety standards. Support internal and external audits related to inventory and assets. Adhere to school policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
