Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Treasury to lead our treasury operations and manage our financial risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management within the fintech or financial services sector, with a preference for experience in broking. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, cash management, and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treasury Management: Oversee all aspects of treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and funding strategies.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including interest rate, currency, and credit risks.
- Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Investment Strategy: Manage the company’s investment portfolio, optimizing returns while maintaining liquidity and minimizing risk.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury functions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the treasury team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and optimize financing arrangements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury management, preferably within fintech, financial services, or broking sectors.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial instruments and markets.
- Proven ability to develop and implement treasury policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modeling.
