Wire Drawing Operations
- Operate wire drawing machines to reduce copper rod/coils into required wire diameters.
- Set up dies, capstans, and drawing parameters according to production requirements.
- Monitor wire diameter, tensile strength, surface finish, and elongation characteristics.
- Ensure proper lubrication and cooling during the drawing process.
- Replace worn dies and tooling as required.
- Minimize wire breaks and production downtime.
Extrusion Operations
- Operate extrusion lines for insulating copper conductors with PVC, FR, FRLS, HRFR, XLPE, or other specified compounds.
- Set machine temperatures, line speeds, and process parameters as per production specifications.
- Monitor insulation thickness, concentricity, spark test performance, and cable appearance.
- Ensure proper color coding and identification of wires as per customer requirements.
- Conduct start-up and in-process quality checks.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all plant safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Use prescribed PPE at all times.
- Ensure safe handling of copper coils, wire reels, and extrusion materials.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Report machine abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Wire manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
