Job Description
We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate and monitor Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should have experience in machine operation, tool handling, and maintaining production quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the machine.
- Monitor machine operations and ensure smooth production.
- Check dimensions and quality of machined parts using measuring instruments.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Identify and report machine issues to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and workplace standards.
- Maintain production records and job sheets.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience as a VMC Operator.
- Knowledge of machining processes and machine operations.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
