Senior Accountant – UAE Accounting Experience Preferred
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Candidates with prior UAE accounting or consultancy experience will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Record and review sales, purchases, expenses, journals, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for accounting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
- Work on accounting software such as Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
- Handle multiple client accounts while ensuring timely completion of work.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
- Support UAE accounting assignments, including VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, wherever applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of accounting experience.
- Ability to independently manage complete accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and/or QuickBooks.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience in an accounting or consultancy firm is preferred.
Preferred:
- Experience in UAE accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- CA Inter, ACCA, CMA, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience handling multiple clients independently.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
