Project Engineer – Job Description

A Project Engineer at SD Infra & MEP Services Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Fighting, and ELV projects from execution to completion. The role involves supervising site activities, ensuring quality work execution, monitoring project schedules, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage day-to-day project execution activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and site productivity.
- Maintain project quality, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare project schedules, daily/weekly progress reports, and documentation.
- Attend client meetings and resolve technical or site-related issues.
- Verify billing quantities, measurements, and work completion status.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within deadlines and budget.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of MEP systems, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV works.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQ.
- Good project coordination and team management skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualification:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Work Environment:
- Site-based and field-oriented role.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Coordination with multiple teams and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
