Job Title: QA/QC Engineer – FabricationJob Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all fabrication activities meet quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. The QA/QC Engineer monitors production processes, conducts inspections, and ensures compliance with quality assurance procedures.

- QA/QC Documentation
- Welding Inspection & Trials
- Oversee Welding Jobs
- Handle Spectro Lab
- Test Certificate Approval
- Respond to Enquiries
- Handle Emails
- Preparation of Test Certificates
- Maintain Quality Records
- Resolve and Respond to Customer Complaints
- Final Goods Inspection
- Incoming Inspection
- Maintain Machine Calibration
Documentation
- Maintain quality records, reports, and inspection logs.
- Prepare and review:
- Material Test Certificates (MTC)
- Inspection reports
- NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and client submissions.
Vendor & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with production, design, and client representatives.
- Conduct vendor inspections and audits.
- Attend client inspections and resolve quality-related issues.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Identify deviations and raise NCRs.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
Compliance & Audits
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Certification in QA/QC or NDT (preferred: CSWIP, ASNT Level II).
- Knowledge of fabrication codes and standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of welding processes and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with fabrication drawings and GD&T.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Communication and coordination skills.
Experience:
- 4–6 years (depending on role level) in fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
