Lead Quality Engineer
We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Lead Quality Engineer to manage and oversee the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) aspects of our residential construction project. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of construction quality standards, material testing procedures, and workmanship benchmarks to ensure high-quality project delivery with zero defects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, checklists, and inspection protocols.
- Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure strict adherence to quality standards, specifications, and approved drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections for civil, structural, and finishing works including concrete, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, etc.
- Oversee third-party and in-house material testing to verify compliance with technical specifications.
- Review and verify workmanship, material deliveries, and site installations as per quality norms.
- Maintain quality documentation such as inspection test plans (ITPs), material test certificates (MTCs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations; initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring quality issues and ensure long-term resolution.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to implement quality best practices.
- Lead the site QA/QC team and ensure proper training and guidance to maintain high-quality execution standards.
- Support in final inspections, snag rectifications, and ensure defect-free handover of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles in industrial or Oil and Gas infrastructure construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of IS codes, construction standards, quality norms, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with testing procedures for materials like concrete, steel, aggregates, waterproofing systems, etc.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills for preparing reports and quality audits.
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and any QA/QC documentation software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
