**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Production Oversight:**
- Supervise and manage the entire production process for spanner manufacturing, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee key manufacturing processes, including forging, broaching, trimming, and punching, to ensure quality and efficiency.
2. **Process Optimization:**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all production activities adhere to established safety standards and protocols.
3. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead and mentor a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the team is knowledgeable about the latest production techniques and safety practices.
4. **Quality Assurance:**
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and rectify any quality issues.
5. **Machine Shop Operations:**
- Manage and maintain machine shop operations, ensuring all equipment, including belt systems and automatic tool changers (ATC), are functioning optimally.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule regular maintenance and repairs of machinery to prevent downtime.
6. **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs, quality control checks, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in the field will also be considered.
- **Experience:**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production role within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on hand tools or similar products.
- Proven experience in overseeing manufacturing processes such as forging, broaching, trimming, and punching.
- **Technical Skills:**
- In-depth knowledge of machine shop operations and experience with belt systems, automatic tool changers (ATC), and other critical components in the production cycle.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- **Leadership Skills:**
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing production teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Problem-Solving Skills:**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
