Salary: 15,000 to 25,000
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and trustworthy Watchman to ensure the safety and security of the premises, employees, visitors, and assets. The candidate should also be comfortable and capable of taking care of the company/residence dog.
Key Responsibilities
Security Duties
- Monitor and guard the premises during assigned shifts.
- Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Maintain visitor register and gate entry records.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols inside and outside the building.
- Report any suspicious activity immediately to management.
- Ensure gates, doors, and windows are properly locked after working hours.
- Handle basic emergency situations (fire, theft, etc.).
Dog Care Responsibilities
- Feed the dog on time as per instructions.
- Ensure the dog has clean drinking water at all times.
- Take the dog for short walks if required.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dog’s area.
- Inform management in case of illness or unusual behavior.
- Be comfortable and friendly with animals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum education: 8th / 10th pass (preferred).
- Prior experience as watchman / security guard preferred.
- Physically fit and alert.
- Honest and disciplined.
- Should not be afraid of dogs and must be comfortable handling them.
- Basic understanding of maintaining registers.
- Willing to work day/night shifts.
Skills Required
- Alertness and observation skills
- Responsibility and punctuality
- Basic communication skills (Tamil & English required; Telugu Speaking candidate preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions
Working Conditions
- 8/12-hour shifts (as per requirement)
- May be required to stay on premises (if accommodation provided)
