The Assistant Fashion Designer & Boutique Manager will be responsible for supporting the senior store associate in the garment design and customization process for customers and supporting day-to-day boutique operations.
# Key Responsibilities
## Fashion Design & Custom Apparel Development
* Design and develop customized ethnic and fusion wear, including kurtas, co-ord sets, festive wear, occasion wear, Indo-western outfits, saree blouses, and bespoke ensembles.
* Guide clients through fabric selection, silhouettes, color palettes, embellishments, and finishing details.
* Conduct measurements, fittings, and alteration consultations to ensure exceptional fit and comfort.
* Collaborate closely with tailors, embroiderers, and production partners to ensure high-quality execution.
### Boutique Operations & Store Management
* Manage daily boutique operations and ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Oversee inventory planning, stock management, and vendor coordination.
* Maintain boutique presentation standards, visual merchandising, and product displays.
* Track sales performance and contribute toward achieving revenue goals.
* Coordinate order management from consultation through delivery.
* Manage appointment scheduling and customer communications.
* Handle operational reporting, billing, and POS activities.
## Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline.
* 1–3 years of experience in women's ethnic wear, luxury fashion, boutique retail, or customized apparel.
* Experience in client-facing fashion consultation and styling.
* Strong understanding of garment construction, tailoring, draping, pattern development, and fit.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
