1. Position Overview
The Junior Manager – Banking will be responsible for managing and coordinating all banking-related activities of CORE4 Group Company. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of independently handling Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, credit facilities, stock statements, and day-to-day banking operations. The candidate will act as the primary point of contact between the company and its banking partners, ensuring compliance, timely submissions, and smooth financial operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Prepare, coordinate, and submit requests for issuance, amendment, renewal, and closure of Bank Guarantees.
- Maintain an updated BG register with validity dates, claim periods, margins, and related charges.
- Ensure timely BG extensions/renewals and avoid lapses.
- Liaise with project, contracts, and commercial teams to ensure BG terms align with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for commissions, lien marking, and documentation.
B. Letters of Credit (LC)
- Manage end-to-end processes of LC opening, amendments, negotiations, and settlements.
- Liaise with vendors/suppliers to ensure LC terms match procurement contracts.
- Verify LC documentation (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, insurance, etc.) for compliance.
- Track LC margins, utilization, expiry dates, and bank charges.
C. Credit Facilities & Bank Liaison (All banks)
- Handle documentation and compliance for company’s working capital limits, including:
- Cash Credit (CC)
- Overdraft (OD)
- Term Loans
- Working Capital Term Loans (WCTL)
- Non-Fund Based Limits (BG/LC)
- Follow up with banks for renewal, enhancement, and modifications of credit limits.
- Monitor drawing power against stock and receivables.
- Maintain records of interest rates, sanction terms, and loan schedules.
D. Stock & Book Debt Statements
- Prepare and submit monthly stock statements, QIS, FFR, DP statements, and other bank-required reports.
- Reconcile stock figures with store and finance teams to ensure accurate submissions.
- Track stock and receivable fluctuations that impact drawing power.
E. Cheque Book & Payment Instrument Management
- Manage custody, issuance, and control of cheque books and maintain the cheque register.
- Track usage of cheques and maintain records of cancelled/spoiled/returned cheques.
- Coordinate issuance of new cheque books and process stop-payment instructions.
- Ensure timely cheque deposits and proper documentation.
F. Insurance Surety Bonds (all Insurance )
- Coordinate issuance, renewal, amendment, and closure of Insurance Surety Bonds, including performance bonds, bid bonds, advance payment bonds, retention bonds, etc.
- Compare terms of surety bonds with contract requirements to ensure compliance.
- Maintain a Surety Bond Register with validity dates, premiums, commissions, and margins.
- Ensure timely renewal of bonds to avoid any operational or contractual lapses.
- Liaise with insurance companies/brokers for documentation, pricing, and endorsements.
- Coordinate with internal departments for bond requests, release letters, and confirmations.
G. Banking Operations & Daily Coordination
- Manage and monitor all company bank accounts and daily transactions.
- Obtain and reconcile bank statements with the accounting team.
- Process vendor and statutory payments through NEFT/RTGS/IMPS and other electronic modes.
- Handle inward/outward remittances and coordinate with banks for any transaction discrepancies.
- Monitor bank charges and ensure correctness in debits.
H. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain a complete filing system for BGs, LCs, surety bonds, limit documents, sanction letters, and bank correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and banking guidelines.
- Provide required banking documentation during statutory, internal, or tax audits.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of banking and financial data.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
